look out and then up...

I have been off of work since last Thursday! There is much to share but so little time to be typing my little fingers off...so, here's a quick rundown.

Thursday...hang out with the kids, dinner, fun and lots of Zack and Cody (don't ask).

Friday (AM) -- got the kids off to school, headed back home to get some 'cleaning' done and what not. Had the rest of the day to myself as I was preparing to head up North to Duluth with Izzie. Izzie had the day off too, but she got to sleep in...so I headed over to her place after a while.

Friday Afternoon -- Picked little miss Hunter up at school, took her to Anoka to spend some time with her Grandma and then we headed north for the evening to enjoy HAIRBALL!!

Friday night -- Duluth, Grandmas Garden, HAIRBALL, PBR me ASAP!! It was a good night (more on that later)!

Saturday -- Wake up, check out, head out for breakfast (the food did not hit the spot), then head back tot he cities.

Saturday night (late afternoon)-- Kona Party at Steve's house (Steve in a speedo, gross!)...met some of his students, see Steve's blog:

http://iwannagetphysical.blogspot.com/ for pics of them (and me and Izzie)

and enjoyed some downtime watching my favorite thing....Triathlon! Thanks again Steve.

Saturday night -- Waterpark of America with Izzies family. We only stayed fora couple hours, but had a good time hanging out with the family, eating pizza, talking about the past and some good memories. Fun stuff. And a shout out to Rick and Voni for getting the rooms and allowing us to hang out.

Sunday -- The craziest endurance snow mountain biking ride ever in my life. 3.5 hours of pure unadulterated forward movement of some sort. Rocky...your a machine, Drew, thanks for hanging for the short time (he had valve stem issues). John, be glad you had the flu!!! This one is one for the books. Snow = NOT PACKED, trails not packed well at all. You would ride, fishtail, slalom, go off course, overcompensate, off the trail to the other side, stop, start, stop, start...on and on and on for 3.5 hours. Talk about a core workout from hell. We loved it and loathed it all in one.

Sunday night -- hung out with Izzies other side of the family over at Jeannine and Josh's house in BC. Watched the game, played with the kiddos from Colorado and had some laughs. Good to see you all again, can't wait for Christmas Eve!

So, that's it in a nutshell. i will try and keep more regular (eat less cheese) on the postings and the training when it all starts after New Years Day!

Bishop out!
