And moving on...What a weekend!!!

Work Christmas party on Friday in the afternoon~~not a hit in my book, but a good, free meal is hard to pass up at times, so....I reckon I enjoyed it somewhat.

My 'ON' weekend with the kiddos, so, lots of planning in order for the weekend to go smoothly and not be just organized chaos. Well, the planning that was planned didn't go quite as planned so I'm planning on planning a bit better for the next weekends plans! Does that make sense? Me too....

Nonetheless, it was a great weekend full of suprises, purchases for Christmas, palnning for the upcoming week, more last minute shopping, church (was great), and the Vikes game that came in nicely on my new converter box (those arent' cheap...way more expensie than free). Thanks to the kiddos for sticking it out with me and IZ during cooking, baking and shopping alike.

Speaking of cooking (baking)...we made tons of sugar cookies with homemade frosting to gobble up and give out for some gifts. Enjoy! They were decorated from the heart by Hunter, Kyle, and Malia. The second night of baking consisted of peanut butter cookies with the kisses in the middle. Fun to make, better to eat.

So, running and gunning all weekend sure makes it go by fast...but its all worth it at the end when the smiles fade to sleepy time and the night falls on softly. Christmas is alot of work, so don't forget the Christ in Christmas...he's the reason for the season....recognize!
